Hey, I am a software engineer and I have worked in payments and SaaS products. My work has mostly involved building features for users, optimizing databases and designing microservices.
At my last job at Trackk, I designed IPO ordering and stock opinion features, and worked on the OMS. Before that, at GoHighLevel, I owned (and built) all the WhatsApp actions in their no-code workflows, handling around 50M events a month and 1.7M messages a day :) And before that I was at BharatPe, working on UPI (I built the UPI integration for Unity Bank) and payment recon across multiple methods, on a service doing 100K+ transactions a day.
I have always focused on observability, and that is what drove my interest in systems engineering: understanding the relationships between throughput and latency, looking at traces between services, reading DB logs. Hence, I am on a journey to understand computers and systems deeply.
